About Me
Heya,
My name is Nanyi and I'm always Chinese. You have probably noticed that I haven't updated my Couchsurfing for a long...time. Because, well, of a lot reasons, but I have always wanted to travel in such a different way. To meet people, to encounter culture, to embrace another identity, that is so cool.
So what about me? I'm 80% Chinese with 20% European. Why, because it's been 4 years now I live abroad. Most of the time, I live in Nice, France, a really nice warm city but now I'm in Edinburgh for the whole winter. Life is full of change and adventurous.
Reading and traveling are my two pillars of finding meaning in life, which is kind of hope for me to carry on this lifelong journey. I love meeting people from different regions, cultures, and backgrounds. It's always been helpful to chat with someone different from you and it's always been a great thing to find someone so similar to you.
I think that's why I love joining Couchsurfing, so much adventure, so many stories, so lots of lives. When you are on a journey, it's always a nice choice to have someone around. Travelling alone is not really alone, it's just about the departure point, but the whole process, we gotta meet people, we gotta experience differently, we gotta have a deep thinking.
Of course, we have an opportunity to catch some language phrases, to make our brain running, and to make life happier. Language is an amazing tool to connect people together, to connect the world together.
And finally, I would like to say, my journey is beginning, and will you be one of the wonderful parts in my journey?
