About Me

Currently living in Utrecht and studying Earth Sciences, with an emphasis on hydrology and geophysics. I enjoy spending time with my friends, hanging out in the park on sunny days, and playing guitar (music in general). I'm quite into sports, having played a lot of different types in school, but picked up climbing when i moved to holland (the irony haha). I still visit zimbabwe (where i grew up) regularly, and going out into the bush with my brother looking for new, untouched, boulders to climb is one of my favourite things to do when im there! I recently finished my undergrad and so started working at the local bouldering gym as a bartender to save up for my travels, since travelling is what makes me feel the most alive!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine uses it and i've met some of the couchsurfers that stayed at his place, and had a great time with them! It seems like a great way to meet travellers and share stories, and help people looking for a place to stay. I also plan on doing some travelling myself, and so i think CS will be a fun way to meet open-minded people in other places of the world!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not amazing as in a feat of mine, but one amazing experience that comes to mind is swimming alongside a whale shark and a pod of dolphins in Mozambique.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach a bit about rock climbing technique, and you can practice your english and/or dutch with me if you're looking for some language practice!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share the few interesting stories i have acquired over the years, maybe have a jam session if you're into music (?), go climbing, and just share company :)
