Hi! My name is Naoki Yokohata. I was born at Hiroshima, which is famous for atomic bomb dome. I'm in the third-year at Kyoto University and majoring in agricultural economics. And then, I am studying economics at Utrecht University(Netherlands) as an exchange student from Feb 2017 to Jan 2018. Possibly it might be difficult to accept some requests because I'm busy with both studying and traveling:( But you can feel free to ask me about staying.

I started to use Couchsurfing because I guess we can meet lots of nice people from all of the world. There is like an invaluable communication between hosters and suffers, I think. By using this service, we can exchange not money but some experiences with each other. We can see people with hospitality interact in this app.

兴趣

I'm looking forward to meeting people from different backgrounds. My interests are in experiencing bunches of new cultures, thoughts, religions and values. Through visiting some places, I wanna realize what people think about and put a high value on, and what encourages them to live their life.
And I'm so passionate about playing and watching baseball like WBC(world baseball classic) (You know Ichiro? He is very famous in MLB) I started it at 8 years old and continued to play it until my junior high school. From my high school, I did Japanese archery for 3 years. I have visited some cities of India for a month. At the end of the trip, I entered Ganga river at Varanashi and soaked myself in the tub up to my head. It was so an awesome experience for my life.

I'm now on the way to improve my English. So can you have a chat with me in English. And, of course, if you are willing to study Japanese, we can teach them with one another. Also, if your favorite one is Japanese dishes (like sushi, sashimi, ramen, teriyaki, tofu, shabushabu), we can share how to cook them.
When you are keen on Japanese cultures ( such as samurai, ninja, geisha, manga, Pokemon), I can teach you some tips and talk about it.
