Overview
About Me
Studying humanities in the Hague, Netherlands. I love to learn from other people's perspectives and believe that aside from my studies, traveling is the most fun and effective way to do so. I love cooking and food but I am living on a student budget. I am not religious but do practice mindfulness (budhist tradition from Thich Nath Hanh). On the other hand I also love a good party, funky techno is especially my cup of tea. Besides that I run, do some mixed martial arts and love photography.
Couchsurfing is not tinder, don't approach me as such.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of different genres of music and love finding new artists to listen to. (Some current favorites: Polo & Pan, Fela Kuti, La Femme, Todd Terje, Xavier Rudd, Fela Kuti, Spinvis)
I do not watch a lot of movies/series but I enjoy those that mock societal problems (e.g. Black Mirror)
I have to read tons of books for my studies so don't read for fun as much as I would like to. But I enjoy books that discuss cultural differences through story telling such as The Grass Dancer, the Colour Purple, 100 years of solitude.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I organized and took the photos for an exhibition focusing on showing the broad spectrum of identities in the LGBTQ+ community in the Hague.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love photography and am both always open to teach and learn more about the topic. I can also share Dutch language and culture.
