Born and raised in Paris from a multicultural family, I like to travel a lot. I'm rather lively, but with a tendency to be quite cynical. At work, in activist groups or in general, I make friends easily. I enjoy a good conversation as well as long as it doesn't take itself too seriously.
I'm happy to have friends over at my place, though I've never felt so good since I've been living by myself! ;-)

Importantly, I'm a queer dyke (lesbian) and a number of my friends are transgender

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've changed account because the old one didn't correspond to my actual life.... but I've actually been practising Couchsurfing since 2007.
I like the experience of these fleeting (but sometimes longer-lasting) meetings with people who sensed they could share things with me by reading this kind-of-formal description of myself ;-p

Interests

I'm a young doctor specialized in infectious disease, I intend to work in public hospital and NGO-type organisation, maybe abroad at some point. I've worked some with migrants populations.
I'm quite involved in the queer-feminist-LGBTI activism, and trying to make that coincide with my work as a health professional.
But I also like doing other things: dancing for one (as a sport or at parties), reading (novels mostly), eating and cooking (in that order), going out for drinks, parties... I cycle everyday to and from work, and am working on learning how to play accordeon

I would define myself as anti-autoritarist. I am an antiracist, pro-sex feminist and queer activist... A lot of words in "-ists" which may sound over-serious but I actually manage it very well on an every day basis, with just a little bit of humour and self criticism! ;-)
