I started traveling through a student exchange program and realized that I wanted to get to know new cultures, new people, and be close to nature whenever possible. I love exchanging knowledge, travel experiences, and trying to communicate in new languages. Every challenge a new place presents is an opportunity to push yourself and learn from others.

Empecé a viajar por un intercambio estudiantil y me dí cuenta que quería conocer nuevas culturas, nuevas personas y estar cerca de la naturaleza siempre que pudiera. Me encanta intercambiar conocimientos, experiencias de viajes e intentar comunicarme en nuevos idiomas. Cada reto que te da un lugar nuevo es una oportunidad para incomodarse y aprender del otro o de la experiencia

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to experience places from a local perspective, getting to know the people who live in the places I visit, that brings me a little closer to the real life of each place, and I think there is enormous richness when people from different backgrounds share. And I hope to give back as a host whenever I have the opportunity.
Porque quiero tener la experiencia de conocer lugares desde la mirada local, con un acercamiento hacia la gente que vive en los lugares que visito, eso me acerca un poco más a la vida real de cada sitio a parte que creo que hay una riqueza enorme cuando personas de distintos contextos comparten. Y espero retribuir como host siempre que tenga la oportunidad.

Interests

I love walking in nature, watching birds, butterflies, waterfalls, and all kinds of vegetation. I also enjoy live music and good conversations. I'm a preschool teacher but a curious person about biology, mountaineering, diving, activism and sustainability.
