About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to stay sane while I can't travel for another year
ABOUT ME
I'm fun and eccentric. I have curly hair. I am a server at a great Boston area restaurant called Hungry Mother. I'm pretty sure that being a server is what you're supposed to do with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, anyway. I would love to get into video editing but right now I'm just trying to save up some money to do some traveling of my own. I enjoy singing songs that I don't know the words to and going to the playground. I am not a morning person. I love good company and good conversation. I'm better at talking in person than I am at writing silly descriptions of myself.
PHILOSOPHY
Hugs not Handshakes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mostly, just with people I've met along my travels. My favorite had to be a priest(ess) I met in Germany who I stayed with in the preisthouse of a tiny village about 30 minutes outside of Zurich (Switzerland). Coolest priest I've ever met and a beautiful village I would have otherwise never seen.
Interests
I am interested in everything...well, maybe not everything, but I am a very curious and interested person. I guess mostly travel, art (making it that is), gardening/farming, activism, camping, indie flicks, good books, all sorts of other cliche interests as well

Music: Mostly old school punk but getting in to some world music, like 5 nizza (Ukrainian) and am even now discovering I like some indy stuff like Ramona Cordova and the Mountain Goats (I must be growing up) Books: Imani All Mine, Running with Scissors, Snow Country, anything by Haruki Murakami, Middlesex, Nickle and Dimed and lots of boring history and political books
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook and would be happy to teach any one how to cook some yummy (vegetarian) food. I also sew. Wow, I sound very Betty Homemaker. Especially because what I want to learn is how to knit. I also weld, but I'm not sure how I would go about teaching that. I am always looking to learn new things.
