I am easily delighted by new perspectives. Thirsty for that calm place hiding in all of us. Content to sit and be present.

I love meditation. I feel most alive after hiking to the top of a large mountain and eating a delicious organic gala or honey crisp, or pink lady... or whatever. As long as it's organic ;) for some reason conventional apples don't share the same, whatever it is.

I gravitate towards the sacred things in life. I struggle with balance. I love being in airports and train stations, where people watching is abundant and fresh. I relate with children. Sometimes I relate with Dostoevsky's Prince Myshkin.

I dig eagles, wolves, ravens, coyotes, buffalo, raccoons, frogs, sea otters, humming birds and snow lions. Not to mention Sasquatch. Right now I am focusing on blue heron.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people. I recently moved to Big Island, HI. Investing in strangers and making new friends has become a huge part of my daily life. It's amazing where the adventure can lead if you are open to whatever you come across. I am hoping couch surfing will allow me to meet new friends and share the aloha spirit.
