About Me

CURRENT MISSION

wander the world, or wherever is nearby

ABOUT ME

I'm a youngish guy soon to start law school in the US and taking the time before it starts to travel as much of the world as I can. I'll be doing a bit of Asia, and hopefully some of Europe, as well as filling out my map of the 50 states.

PHILOSOPHY

Perhaps best summed up as a live and let live. I don't generally worry about what other people are doing and prefer the same, but I'm an avid follower of US and international politics and am always more than happy to engage in that debate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to go to the Chicago meetups when I'm in town, but I've spent most of time since joining this site traveling. Once I settle down this fall I'll hopefully be able to start hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I like the principle of couch surfing, and I love the people that participate in it. I've found that couchsurfers tend to be more worldly, more outgoing, and have no end to the stories they've got, which always makes for a fun time.

Interests

As my friends can attest to, I love both talking and listening. From the friendly debate, the witty banter, drunken speeches, or the quiet exchange of ideas, I'm a fan of words in all their forms. I even wrote some haikus in high school for a literary magazine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big sci-fi and fantasy nerd in particular, so I'm ready to discuss the finer points of Asimov's laws. I generally don't watch as many movies, but do watch a ton of tv, both new and old stuff, usually American.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a giant banana and a gorilla get married at a gay wedding ceremony during college, but it made slightly more sense in context.

Countries I’ve Visited

Egypt, France, Israel, Myanmar, Netherlands, South Africa, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

India, United States
