About Me
ABOUT ME
Born of American parents in Tuscany, Italy, grew up bilingual in a small village, surrounded by history and nature in a culturally oriented home. After years of performing as a musician all over Italy, moved to New York in 2008 and began working at the Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò of New York University, organizing 70-80 events every year pertaining to Italian culture. Also worked in film, opera, theater and all kinds of music.
PHILOSOPHY
Question everything.
I believe in facts, evidence, and discovery. Anything that stands up in a laboratory. I despise all forms of spiritualism, especially when politically organized.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like the good and the bad alike.
My favorite films are those by thinkers such as Terry Gilliam, Jim Jarmusch, Ingmar Bergman, Alfred Hitchcock, Orson Welles, Federico Fellini, Woody Allen...and many many more.
Big comedy fan: Monty Python, Marx Brothers, Eddie Izzard, Bill Maher, George Carlin...
My favorite music is cultivated music, especially opera, especially Italian opera, especially Verdi. However, I have a thing for '90s rock music, grunge, alternative and punk.
Some of my favorite authors are Shakespeare, Poe, Lovecraft, Huxley, Faulkner, Orwell, Calvino and Fenoglio.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can bring to the table a linguistic knowledge (perfectly bilingual in English and Italian), a substantial baggage of film and classical music knowledge, and can teach how to play a variety of instruments, as well as being good at fixing computers. I can also juggle! But most importantly I want to learn, especially foreign cultures and tastes.
