About Me

CURRENT MISSION
To meet people from all over the world!

ABOUT ME

I've always had a bad case of wanderlust, but couldn't do anything about it. But I decided to put my life on hold for a year, and travel the world and see what's beyond these great United States. I love to meet new people, and to hear their stories (everyone has an interesting story, some are just shinier than others).

I love diving, fly fishing, photography, reading, watching movies, and collecting foreign currency. It's really a sickness, I put away varying denominations from all countries I visit and send it all back home to sit in a pile. I like to cook new things, but I *love* to eat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to talk to fellow CS'ers (especially those that have traveled to places I haven't, can cook things I can't, and speak languages I can't!) It's such a great community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We were fortunate to have couchsurfed around the world with very kind hosts. I want to return the favor as soon as I have a stable place and host people. We really like nice, friendly people with a passion for travel (or a passion for anything, really!).

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a voracious reader

Last 5 good books I've read: Mastery, Mr. Penumbra's 24 Hour Bookstore, The Emperor of Maladies, The Idea Factory, Bird by Bird

Last 5 good movies I've seen: Duma, Before Midnight, Robot and Frank, Particle Fever

Music: Everything, including Country!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking up to Machu Picchu was one of the coolest things I've ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to juggle (or try to, at least). I can teach you about the human body. I can teach you to cook something.

I would like to learn languages. And how to make dolphin sounds. And cook new things.
