About Me
"I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy."
Rabindranath Tagore
I love to travel with purpose, get inspired by people's life stories and remember that we are all connected. I'm a person that is quite often in a good mood and will be ready to have a nice conversation and exchange some experiences.
I have a BA in Industrial Design, but the best schools I had during my 20's were the project I created to integrate foreigners in Rio and the stress relief courses I organized in slums and prisons in my hometown. Together with my trips, of course! In 2013 I finished a MSc in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability in Sweden. That made me even more passionate about topics related to sustainability, transformative education, social innovation, social entrepreneurship, facilitation, etc. After finishing my Master's I started a new journey of only doing work that really speaks to my heart and my values. That led me to live in Russia, Hong Kong, Beijing, Hanoi and now Shanghai, China.
Spiritual awakening has also been a main theme in my life in the last years, and I have done a lot of courses and practice regular meditation, nonviolent communication, yoga and other self-development techniques.
I live with my partner Hailey PoLa who is also a Couchsurfer (we actually met on CS more than 4 years ago), and we might have a bed available for you. But we only accept people who are OK with only bringing plant-based food into our home, and don’t host people who are only looking for a free bed to crash. If you’re really interested about staying with us, make sure you add in your couch request the secret words that will show you at least read my profile: “cacti are awesome!” :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Isn't being born and being able to stare at the stars enough of a miracle?
Teach, Learn, Share
I can talk about sustainability, facilitation and transformative education for hours. I love meditating and do Yoga sometimes. I also practice energy healing and Thai Yoga massage.
I'm trying to learn French and Mandarin, and I also want to improve my German and Italian, so if you can help me with any of these languages I'll be very grateful. And I'm looking forward to learning anything else you can teach!
