ABOUT ME

Nous sommes Bernard et Michèle, nous vivons à Pélissanne, près de Salon de Provence. Nos grandes filles se sont envolées.

Nous aimons la randonnée (à pied, en ski de fond, à vélo, en kayak de mer), les voyages,.. Nous aimons aussi la nage en mer.

We are a french couple, Bernard and Michèle, living near Salon de Provence. Our 2 daughters are now gone ( in Marseille and New Zealand)

We like to travel by foot, ski, bicycle, sea kayak,..

We also like open sea swimming.

We can host 2 people in a separate room. We also have room for your tent int the garden.

Interests

Travelling, music, reading, gardening, cooking..

We like to hike, specially on volcanoes. In recent years we traveled in the Lipari Islands (Vulcano, Stromboli..), on the Etna, and hiked one week on Tenerife's Teide volcano.

We hiked to the summit of Hawaii's Big Island, and to live lava fields.

We are open to most kinds of music.

Last concerts : Yes, some good fake Pink Floyds, Porto Primavera Sound ( !!!, John Grant,..) Abstraxion and DarkSide, La Traviata, Catherine Ringer with Gotan Project, Christine and the Queens , Wishbone Ash, M, Charlélie Couture, Bab el Med festival in Marseille and many more.

Michèle is keen on contemporary art and movies, Bernard a little less!

Le Stromboli, à pied la nuit! et en kayak de mer!

Swimming with sea turtles in Greece, and on the coral reef barreer in Mexico.

Several trips in the Hoggar in the Algerian desert, with a small car, but also hiking, rock climbing..

Every minute of our 3 weeks stay in Hawaï.

Teach, Learn, Share

I, Bernard, like to learn languages. I learned English at school, Spanish on different trips to Spain and Mexico, some Italian. Studied Tunisian Arabic while living in Tunis. Tried to learn Greek for a kayaking trip we did in 2010....not a real success though.

I love to travel with my grammar books and lists of vocabulary, but I much prefer to practice with real people!
I also love cooking and we're rather good at backpack cooking.

Michèle knows a lot on geology and biology, she likes to share it and learn more.

We're eager to share that, and much more
