About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

I am tall. Somewhat quiet and usually listening. People and their experiences interest me. I like to help when I can. Love music, good food, and art. I make art of my own, sculpture may be considered my specialty. I like being outside and in nature. I rock climb and am always in wonder of what I find next in life.

PHILOSOPHY

I like helping people. I've worked at a soup kitchen for awhile and have found out that it is something i would like to do for life. Recently I am trying to become involved in the Peace Corps. I enjoy helping other who need a little help until they can get back on their feet or just get through the day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I share my stories with others, both the CSing community and my friends and family. I've spread the word about how great the whole couch surfing experience was for me. I can't open my own couch cause I am still living under my parents roof but when I get my own place would gladly open it up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Recently my friend and I took a month and half trip across Europe and Morocco. I had only heard of CS.com at that point but we went off of his account, I was a little skeptical at first glad that the trip happened that way. We meet locals and learned about the different places from people who actually lived there. The trip was one of the best things I have done for my self in a long time and glad we couch surfed.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Anything that sounds good. I like a lot of music, mostly American, from Motown to Indie, Classic Rock to some Pop.
Art: Anything from the great renaissance masters to Duchamp and his urinal
Books: The classics, enjoy reading on travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably one of the most amazing things I have done is going to a remote village in Morocco. The name of the town was called Amessine and my friend and I who took this grand Europe trip didn't really plan out this part, we went on a whim all the way out there in the middle of nowhere and it was amazing. One power line and the people were living on minimal means. There were shepherds and donkeys taking people all over the town. It was a sight to see from a boy who grew up in the extravagant American suburbs.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will gladly talk to any of my hosts about the arts which I do really enjoy. Even trying to explain some of the modern artists. I'm very crafty and can repair most things as well.
