Doesn't work all the time, but 'hey', who's perfect? Life knocks one down. Ok. Few days of feeling sorry for oneself. Ok. But then back on your feet and MOVE ON!

ABOUT ME

Sometimes a quiet observer, sometimes a loud mouth. Love to travel and be active. Or lock myself in for days to read or research a topic. Very health conscious, exercise every day, jog, play football, cycle, slackline, rollerblade. I am on a diet which is somewhat restrictive, allowing no sweets, alcohol and dairy for example. Love green smoothies and home-made muesli with seed and nut milk. Love to challenge myself both physically and mentally. Have done Berlin marathon in 2017 and walked 132km in 52 hours here in Latvia earlier this year. Another marathon coming up in a few weeks time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to host people through hospitality club when i lived in Latvia and surfed some couches around Europe during my hitch-hiking trips or holidays. If anybody asks, this is the only way to travel and best way to meet people. Currently, unfortunately i cannot host as i'm looking over my friends apartment for the near future. I haven't surfed myself for quite some time, but will do when opportunity calls.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Athens and Naxos twice with the same people, Alghero, Northampton. Everybody has been great. Thank you guys and girls.

Interests

occasionally play guitar, sing tenor in a choir, but it's still work in progress as both are self taught as a lot of things in my life. I like yoga and body-weight exercises and observe results in my body, adjusting and changing routine if necessary. It's important to listen to signals our bodies send and react accordingly.
Love going barefoot or with barefoot shoes like Heroshoes. Am experimenting running swapping between normal running shoes and barefoot. But it needs time as running barefoot is more taxing on ones feet, ankles and legs in general.
