ABOUT ME
Well, I do not know how to talk about myself...
See below or... meet me !
PHILOSOPHY
"What you do not wish upon yourself, extend not to others." — Confucius
...and in 'others' it should also be included Mother Nature, that gives us everything for our survival and that we - human beings - treat so bad in return... so sad :-(
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
promoting CS project around me, joining and enjoying meetings with travellers and locals
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
After years of crashing at friends' places (and friends of friends'...), and after being hosted by some friends who - I found out later - were actually CSers, I finally had my 1st real experience !
But first of all, I'd like to warmly thank my friends who introduced me to this new world of CS : Hortense (honneur aux dames, "ladies first"), Rom (who refered me), Guiyom (who hosted me twice in Shanghai) and Pierre (who offered me a shelter when I was homeless in Beijing). MERCI :-D
Feb 2007 : Crashed at Susanna's in Newtown, Sydney (after missing the last train)
April 2007 : Enjoyed a weekend of sightseeing and chilling out at Flurf's in Wollongong, Oz
April 2007 : Hosted Sus for her last (and very short!) night in Sydney
April 2007 : Hosted Bruno for his last nights in Sydney
May-June 2007 : Road-trippin' with Christina
Oct 2007 : Hosted Christina for her last weekend in Oz

One of the latest I read and liked very much is an essay about communication, culture and difference of culture : The Silent Language by Edward T. Hall. Very informative ! (translated into french : le Langage silencieux)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
my first introduction to canyoning : abseil a waterfall of 35 metres, and enjoy the amazing view on the creek and the ocean while doing it... Simply awesome :D
4am in Shanghai, we were leaving a club when we bumped into two scottish guys in traditional outfit, one playing the bagpipe !
Teach, Learn, Share
Life is the best teacher but I can teach you a recipe or two :)
Even if I like learning from books, I definitely prefer learning from people 'cause it's a good occasion to share a nice moment, isnt'it :D
