Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think people are all about traveling. I could have just booked a hotel and stayed by myself or just with my company, but I prefer to hang out with new friends much more.

Interests

What a spontaneous and accidental chance it is that we became individual lives as humans. From this perspective, I try to enjoy my everyday life as much as I can because everything is both meaningful and meaningless at the same time.

As a particularly curious and mindful one, the most important way to enjoy life is to learn and explore. That’s why I work as a scientist, why I try to travel a lot, and why I try to meet as many people as I can along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into K-pop, especially their lyrics. I'm currently learning to write lyrics and trying to become a lyricist as my second job.

I love books about history, science, and various novels. The most inspiring books for me are The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins and Human Acts by Han Kang.

I enjoy musical movies like La La Land and I'm also a fan of large-scale Hollywood productions such as the Marvel Universe, Dune, and Avatar. I watched Avatar 2 three times because I loved it so much!

I used to work as a part-time swimming instructor for kids when I was in university. It was a job that really suited me :) I'm very happy to help anyone with swimming
