I'm Nari, 33 years old Japanese.
Language I speak: Japanese, French, English.
Je parle aussi le français.( Mais avec un peu de l'accent belge.) N'hésitez pas à me contacter en français !
I'm living in Tokyo and working there fulltime, but I sometimes spend my time overseas because of my occupation. I work with Japanese governmental aid projects to developing countries such as DR Congo, Guyana, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Viet Nam, and many other countries.
These experiences have broaden my perspectives a lot, and I become more open minded to accept differences of cultures and perspectives . I enjoy sharing ideas, cultures, languages exchanges a lot.
You will find very few Japanese who has an experience to work with DC Congo, Guyana, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Viet Nam, etc. If you have interests of my experiences in these countries, you would enjoy staying with me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My friends somehow introduced me about this service and I found it interesting because I've been living in a dormitory with lots of people both Japanese and non-Japanese) and sharing an appartement with different types of people for more than 6 years.
So far, I have lived with Italians, French, Cambodian, Phillipinos, Americans, Canadians, German, Indian, and many other nationalities...

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Charlie Chaplin, Woody Allen, Dardenne Brothers, Ken Loach, Audrey Hepburn, Takeshi Kitano, and etc. I am a big fan of movies.)
Music: Rock and Alternatives. The Strokes, The Red Hod Chilli Peppers, The Libertines, Franz Ferdinand, Radio Head and more.
Books: Murakami Haruki, Albert Camus(L'etranger), Dostoevskii (Crime and Punishment, etc), Banana Yoshimoto, Hamlet, etc. I read books from classics such as Greek classics ( Plato, Oedipus) to French, Russian, German, British, and American novels. Of course, I read lots of Japanese writers.
Teach, Learn, Share
During weekdays, I am usually quite busy. But when I have free time, if you are interested, we can cook together Japanese food and try it together.
