ABOUT ME

I used to have a constant need to move! I just couldn't stay too long at the same place, and I found traveling a very good option to fulfill that need!

It seems that traveling has brought me some answers on who I am, on what I want in life, and now that some of these questions are answered, I decided to settle down for a moment and see what life has in store for me!

I love languages, arts, culture, music! I love meeting people from all over the world! I love talking hours about all the philosophical questions! I love watching movies, listening to music, drawing, playing the piano....

I'm living with my husband and our two little kids now, and although we're not able to host anyone right now, we're always happy to meet new people from anywhere!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I discovered CS during my 6 months trip around Asia and have been thrilled to be hosted by extraordinary people! Now, if I had space, I would definitely want to start hosting myself...!
But until then, let's meet around a drink or go for a walk..!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For now I have only experienced surfing, and I can say that where ever it was, these were amazing experiences! That is how I could feel included and home even when I arrived somewhere for the first time.
Now, as soon as I can, I would like to give this back to people and start hosting!

Algo increíble que he hecho

During my one month stay with the Mentawai tribe in Indonesian jungle, a 5 year-old kid in my family fell very sick. After 3 days there was no improvement, he could not eat, not sleep and not even cry anymore.
We tried everything with what we had but he had a very high fever, and for a moment we really thought he would not make it.
So shamans came one evening, they prepared potions with jungle plants and performed rituals, singing, dancing to make the bad spirit leave the kid's body. They did this the whole night. We went to sleep after some time and they continued.
The next morning when we woke up, the kid was up, laughing and playing with the other children!
This was the most amazing and touching moment of my life!
