About Me
Ciao! I'm Tommaso. I'm a spontaneous, open-minded, curious, music-addicted guy who wants to explore this Earth.
I grew up in Vicenza, Italy, I studied Computer Science at University of Trento and now I'm working as a Web developer in Amsterdam.
I sing and play the guitar, I've been in a pop-punk/easycore band called Well Planned Attack for many years, which brought me touring Japan, Russia Canada and United Kingdom.
I also like good food, TV shows (a lot) and movies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel as much as I can, explore new places and meet new people who share my interests. I love to learn and speak foreign languages. I'm all about living unexpected adventures, so let's meet up and have some great time!
Music, Movies, and Books
About music: my favorite band since ever is Blink182, I've been listening to their music for soooo many years. I love The Story So Far, A Day To Remember, Yellowcard, Knuckle Puck, Neck Deep, Four Year Strong, City Lights, Enter Shikari, Chunk! No Captain Chunk, Abandoned By Bears, Underoath..
I watch a lot of TV shows, I love Mr. Robot, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Black Mirror, Shameless, Misfits, Skins..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I joined POLARIS, a team of aerospace engineering students, for a scientific experiment. Together we designed and developed a new concept of heat radiator for satellites and space ships. The experiment was chosen among many others from ESA (European Space Agency) which gave us the chance to test our prototype in a space-like environment thanks to the Rexus/Bexus educational program. After one year of development we headed to Esrange Space Center in Kiruna (northern Sweden) to launch the radiator into stratosphere. The experiment went pretty good and the whole experience was incredible.
