In 2011, I quit my software engineering "day job" to pursue my passion in film and the outdoors. I've made a few short films since then and really never looked back.

I'm a climber & mountaineer. Love the outdoors and the community of people that lives & plays there. In my spare time, I volunteer as a Search & Rescue for back country rescues in my area.

I'm not a social butterfly, per se, but connecting with new people is really what makes a trip awesome. Would love to connect and swap stories, or do my own thing if you are busy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a climber, I've crashed on plenty on friend's/friends of friends couches & floors. Working as an artist has made me frugal but in a good way. I've appreciate the experience of connecting with acquaintances simply because you come to their town way more than I did before. I've built strong friendships from it. New to couchsurfing.com. I've heard good things.
