Hi! My name is Marta and I'm 21 years old.
I'm a fangirl. I love fantasy and scince-fiction both books and movies. My main fandoms are marvel, sherlock, tolkien-related-stuff, star wars and hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy.
My personality type is INFJ-T (I'm almost sure), so I'm an introvert, but this doesn't mean I don't like people. In fact it's opposite, I love meeting new people and making friends. I just sometimes need to be alone for a while. That's why I like walks, especially in mountains. I also like physical activity, but I'm not any kind of sportswoman, I just like it. I am a lifeguard tho .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing because I wanted to start exploring the world by myself and to meet young people like me.

Interests

As I said I love popculture, especially fantasy and science-fiction related (I'll tell more about it later). I'm huge Captain America fan.
Beside that I like DIY, nature, sailing and swimming. I also like languages even though I'm not an expert (that's one of the reasons I like Tolkien so much).
I enjoy visiting museums, galleries and all other beautiful places. I also collect bookmarks (I have almost 600 of them).

MUSIC
My favorite artists are Dawid Podsiadło, Woodkid, Harry Styles, Lorde, One Direction, Daniel Pemberton, Dan Croll, Stromae and Adele, but I don't have very specified taste in music (with one exeption which is that I hate metal and hard rock). I love soundtracks.

Oh, I love them (almost) all!
First of all fantasy&sci-fic (Tolkien, Pratchett, Card, Lewis, Lem, Bradbury, Herbert, D. Adams, Glukhovsky, Clarke, Leguin, Dick, Sapkowski, Pilipiuk) but also childrens' books (Saint-Exupery, Ende, Dahl, Goscinny) and others (like Shakespeare, V. Woolf, Vonnegut).

MOVIES AND TV SERIES
Lord of the rings, Matrix, Marvel Cinematic Universe (both movies and series), anyting Batman-related (with few exeptions), Star Wars, BBC Sherlock, Halt and Catch fire, Stranger things and many others (again) fantasy and sci-fic. I adore Saoirse Ronan and Paul Dano.

If you will visit me in spring or summer I could show you a bit of sailing, because I have a licence (but we would have to share the costs of renting a boat).
