About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"If I had 53 minutes left to live, I'd walk very slowly toward the next fountain…" St Exupéry (The Little Prince)
ABOUT ME
Was born away... and I've never found the way back... Anyway, I feel it impossible to plant my roots on a single ground…
More in the mood for being a lost flying seed now. Thirst for a cosmic random drive, as much simple and insignificant as with a strong strong fate!
Everyday has its delivery of surprises, joys and tragedies, nest-ce pas?
But tell me... I think we met before, didn't we?
Wait, wait, where did I leave yesterday ? … ah that doesn't matter.
Actually, do you have a bit of today to share with me?
Come on! what's left but that precious time we can share now in the comfortable space of that house over us? It's not mine by the way... Maybe it's yours!
Oh tell me, would you invite me to share your dreams with me?
I've been treated enough like a wandering king during my travels. Now the trip is microscopic and the free monarch me has turned sticked to the old waxed throne.
Oh you! You are the successor! come and deliver me form that terrible routine!
Come and save my soul if you dare!
PHILOSOPHY
I trust in the high diversity of personalities.
I think the more we are, the more human community increases in quality. But for that we have to meet and to exceed our fear from the different.
I really don't need violence to feel awake, but I do appreciate challenges and adrenalin!
I feel plenty of trust and respect for life. I'm only a small ephemere child of it. One day I'll have to go too, so I want to leave in peace, with a smily and free last breath.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I met so many brothers and sisters all around the world, thanks to CS. No strategy to predict a meeting, but it's always a step forward.
I trust highly in the unknown and I put blindly my belief in any open hand.
That's my way to grow up, and to turn the real into magic!
Practically, I love to cook for a smile.
Je me lève chaque jour du pied gauche et puis je passe le reste du temps à essayer de corriger le tir. (Champion 1998 du lancer de charentaise dans mon village provençal ;o)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Incredible experiences of friendship and hospitality with Luis, Silvia, Jepe, Jens, Natalia, Tobias, Claude, Jorn, Mustafa, Aylin, Nikola, Mohamed (several ;-), Mehmet, Saber, Arman, Ali, Sogol, Sanaz and Daood, Farideh, Share, Navin, Vishal, Yogen & Anu, Wahid, Ulf who were my hosts through my last adventures. It's so precious to be welcomed by local people in the place where they live and to share a piece of it from the inside.
In the other hand I love to host too. A visit is an opportunity for me to walk around and to see my hometown with new sharp eyes. I know few interesting pathes that show us some history, architecture, poetry, nature, culture, politics, etc through Geneva... but the path is never the same because each one is absolutely, universally unique! I'd like to follow your curiosity and to learn a bit more with you. Because it's a cosmic experience. We forget it most of the time, but our differences are not only opportunities, they are miracles!
.,..
Ok! Ok! I come down, I calm down.
Let's say technically, I don't feel good with superficial and consumering tourism. I don't try "to do" countries nor to collect friends on fb. Just to be transformed by each step made on earth, 'cause life is too short for all my plans. And CSing is the booster I couldn't dream about.
Anyway, I think I did couchsurf many times before participating to CS, and I didn't know that it was an internationnal official sport! ;-)
Interests
I love to prepare raffinated mediterranean meals. Sharing it gives me the will to prepare it actually.
I love to ride my bicycle in Geneva, to read a good book with a fresh beer on a sunny crowded terrace.
I'm used to find pretty places far deep into nature to spend few nights out of the concrete jungle.
I like to swim in mountain lakes or to dive into a big dark river that washes my mind and bring me back to my inner joyfull and shivering child... In fact I enjoy following every kind of way to prove my gratitude for being alive!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love humor, poetry, action, science fiction, philosophy, classics, suspense, geography, sociology, politic, etc.
I feed myself from each kind of creative, imaginative and sincere way of expression, I mean not the business staff related on "how to take profit from each minimal investment", but "the more you give truely, the more you receive in return" ;-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Paragliding from a mountain to another trough 3 days long, 130km. Camping there on several wonderfull platforms that can be only reached from the sky...
I remember a huge lion of black basalte sculpted by the Hitites 4 thousands years ago... his opened big mouth was emerging out from the red sand. It was deep in the syrian desert.
I lived 7 years in an alternative and independant student house community with a garden in the heart of Geneva. A real school of life (far more than university actually)...
Went hitchhiking from Geneva, during 3 monthes, down to Burkina Faso- western Africa where I spent 4 other monthes. Without money, it was another really amazing school of life!
Went couchsurfing during a whole month in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Didn't spend more than one night in a Youth Hostel 'cause everywhere was a generous CSsoul accepting to welcome me, despite my smells of happy wandering backpacker !
Last experience: a whole year overland travel and CSsurfing from Geneva to South India... Am addicted to it, can't stop exploring my blue home.
Everyday has its batch of surprises. Every single moment can be a big event, it depends on our energy and sensibility to intercept it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a traveller. I was born in a moving family. I've always been the guy "coming from somewhere else". I feel close to every "stranger" in the world. Now I'm always on the road hitchhiking or picking up hitchhikers... I love to move cause I love to share. Life is too short and the world too big to stay at one place.
With both oriental and occidental roots I chat a lot and I love to tell stories! I even do it alone sometimes, when one side is arguing with the other. Isn't it? Oh that's for sure! ;-)
I also know few things about swiss life, its official culture and underground "alternative" culture... I'm studying in Geneva since the nineties, teaching & distracting children since 2005...
