About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find harmony and peace in life

ABOUT ME

Born in Central Asia, then having lived in the most European city of Russia (guess which one? :) and recently "adopted" by Paris, I believe that I don't belong to one particular country or culture but to the whole world. That is the reason why I'm interested in meeting people from different horizons, in sharing ideas and experiences and thus in better understanding this world and myself.

PHILOSOPHY

I know nothing except the fact of my ignorance.
Treat others as you wish to be treated yourself.
The more you give the more you get.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been travelling in Asia these last two years so was not active in couch surfing but would like to reconnect to this world of travellers.

Interests

Travelling, meeting new people and discovering new places, singing some bossa nova and jazz, practicing and teaching yoga.. Recently I have discovered a brasilian dance forro. It is my new passion that I love sharing with others (I know some good spots for dancing).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my big passion. I particularly love classic music and jazz, latin rythmes, especially brasilian music (bossa nova, forro..), ethnical music..but I'm open to all music styles, provided it is made with sincerity and passion.
Movies is another passion of mine...italian cinema always moves me - Fellini, Antonioni, Nanni Moretti and more recently Paolo Sorrentino. And of course Tarkovsky, Kurosawa, Walter Salles, Abbas Kiarostami, Kore-Eda...
Hemingway, Tchekhov, Le Clézio, Roman Gary, Fréderic Lenoir, Irvin Yalom, la littérature sur la spiritualité et le développement personnel
