About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To finish my masters thesis.
ABOUT ME
My name is Nastja Kosor and I’m from Ljubljana, Slovenia. I’m 24 years old and currently finishing my studies in biology. I’m working on my master’s thesis in which I am studying the effects of artificial illumination on bats. Besides writing my thesis I’m also working as a promoter. I would describe myself as an easygoing person, I like to joke and to laugh, to meet new people and cultures and try new food. I love animals (not just bats:)). I have a cat, her name is Ginny. I like spending my time with friends, doing sports, going to cinema, listening to the music, reading (huge fan of Harry Potter books) and traveling every time I get a chance. I’ve already seen a huge part of the Europe (my next plan is to visit the Scandinavian countries), Egypt, 5 countries of USA (Arizona, Colorado, California, Nevada, Utah), Vietnam and Cambodia.
PHILOSOPHY
Live every day like its your last - travel, eat well and stay active.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I have no couch available because I live with my parents. But once I live on my own I would very much like to host people. For now I can go for a cup of coffee or on a tour around Ljubljana, maybe also some other Slovenian cities.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only one experience in couchsurfing so far. Me and my friend Nika were in Vietnam on February and March and we stayed with a really nice girl in Ho Chi Minh for two nights. She showed us around the city, we went to the Cu Chi tunnels together and we tried some of the local food together. It was great.
Interests
I'm interested in traveling (my favourite way to spend my money and time on:)), reading, watching movies and series, going out with my friends, doing field work, doing sports, spending time in nature, playing with my cat Ginny, singing, playing piano and guitar,...

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - LOTR, Forrest Gump, Requiem for a dream, The sound of music
Music - Queen, Coldplay, The cure, The rolling stones, The killers, Florence and the Machine,...
Books - Harry Potter. Read it for the first time when I was 11 or something and it's still my favourite. I also enjoyed Perfume by Patrick Suskind.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmm...I've seen a lot of amazing things on my travels, it's hard to decide which one of them amazed me the most, because every country or city is so different from another and I think evaluations can't be made. The one amazing thing I did - I held a baby bat:)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some Slovenian words hehehe:) Well I don't know what can I teach you, but I like to sing and play instruments, and maybe know some things in this field.
