About Me

Hi there! I'm Nat. Most of the time I live in beautiful Vancouver, Canada, but right now I'm studying abroad in Copenhagen. This is my first time on the continent so I'm looking to explore Europe and hopefully be able to hang out with YOU! I have a degree in art/environment studies and am continuing to be a student forever by studying landscape architecture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people from different places. There is nothing better than sharing good conversations and food and drink with people, especially in a homey setting :).

Interests

I like plants and wondering about outer space and art and life. More than anything I like knowing what it is that other people are interested in and why.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the movies Annie Hall and Frances Ha, The Fall is also a super beautiful film. As a kid Zoolander was a solid favorite. There are too many great movies to list here! Music: currently into smoooooth tunes. A perfect genre for me would be chill-soul-folk. The Where the Wild Things Are soundtrack has also stuck with me for a long time for some reason.
Books: The Book of Laughter and Forgetting, The God of Small Things, fiction is nice though I really do need to read more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

ok so four: Somehow found myself living in Denmark and biking around here is quite a dream. Hiking the Juan de Fuca trail in the Pacific Northwest coast was also spectacular, aaaaand so was wandering up Koko Head in Hawaii. Oooh last amazing thing: a road trip to Yellowstone National Park last summer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can go on and on about how cities are made and some neat nature facts and some other crazy stories I've heard from podcasts. This world is incredible! I would love to learn more about farming and I can help cook, feed your pets, share stories, smiles, and a drink or two.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hosting is such a giving, beautiful thing. I would love to cook with you and buy you food and wine so we can have some nice meals together. Also, please let me do all the dishes and cleaning up after.
