Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel as much of the world and myself as possible
ABOUT ME
A free-spirited traveler who enjoys adventure and connection. I am a friendly, outgoing individual who values wisdom, joy, and love. When I travel I wish to meaningfully get to know different areas; the history, people, and culture.
PHILOSOPHY
I appreciate the philosophy of Nietzsche, to overcome. I believe the best way to live is to be the best you can be in all situations, in all areas of your life (be virtuous, be kind, be authentic).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have taken part in a few long haul excursions, and some shorter ones. I engage travellers and try to offer what I can, sharing stories and insights and good energy. I haven't been able to host very much yet but enjoy hosting when I can and love the company of travellers. It's also been nice to offer advice to travellers in the area and receive advice from locals through the couchsurfing app.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed through the south of France one summer (2012) and it was one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had. I think it is a wonderful idea and the community that it creates is remarkable. It is a great way to meet new people and genuinely explore and experience different areas.
I have also turned to couchsurfing for smaller endeavours such as visiting NYC (2014/5) - also a wonderful and enriching experience.
Couchsurfing has allowed me to move around more areas of the world. I'm very grateful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can't pick one!
Hiking/taking a van across the island of Corsica. I loved the statue of David and painting of Irises in Italy.
Swimming with wild dolphins in Sao Miguel with my family was also incredible. It's also wonderful to catch up with faraway friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
Bring wet naps everywhere! Keep something on you that makes you feel comfortable and safe. Re-usable water bottles are great. Be open minded, but careful.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Ideas, food, good company, interesting conversation - good vibes. When I can, I also bring maple syrup.
