ABOUT ME

Hi there!

My name is Natacha. I taught french as a second language 4 years in an Inuit community called Kuujjuaq, in Nunavik (Northern Quebec). I love Inuit culture and I have learned a lot there, like making inuit clothing for exemple. This was fun!

I'm a culture-mix of French, Quebecois, Canadian, Inuk. If you ask me where I belong... I belong to the world. Sometimes North, sometimes South. I love Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Nunavik, Canada. I wish I could be everywhere at the same time...

I left home in June 2011 and I have been travelling since, mostly in Asia. I'm spending my time between volunteering and travelling. I think that's the best way to learn more about the culture!

Anyway, I'm open minded, independant and I don't take much space!

I would love meeting you and talk about all kind of things. I'm sure you can teach me a lot!

I think couchsurfing is the best way to meet new poeple and know more about the place we are visiting.

Travelling is my main hobby for now, but I love outdoor stuff also like snowhoeing, biking, ski dooing or simply walking...

- Taught how to speak french to little inuit kids
- went to Ungava Bay by ski doo
- Rode a camel in Thar desert, Jaisalmer, India
- dog sledding in Nunavik
- kayaking in Halong Bay
- Snowshoiening in Lapland
- paragliding in Nepal
- Went to Annapurna Base Camp, Nepal
