About Me

CURRENT MISSION

figuring out the best way to travel as much as possible while never having to get a job.

ABOUT ME

Basically, I am the epitome of the cliche young traveler like most people connected with CS2 (not that it's a bad thing. I'd rather be a cliche traveler than a cliche frat boy any day!)

PHILOSOPHY

Fuckit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My roommates and I have set up a back room with a bed for wary travelers to stop in Reno, thus sacrificing the needed space for a legitimate billiards room. Furthermore, I like to consider my roommates and myself as unofficial ambassadors for our (fill in adjective of choice here) city, Reno. I think that the greater implications of DIY projects like CS2 are crucial to defend ourselves from the Wal-Martification, Big Brother-ization of our lives and consiousness (Seriously)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have only hosted people, but all of the people I have met have been great. They all have brought their own experiences and stories, and all have made their unique contributions to my house. I am sure that the feelings will be reciprocated by the hosts I meet in Latin America. But, meeting new interesting people making their ways through life is so cool. It has added a new kinetic element to my life, destroying the stagnation that results from the doldrums of work, school, and staying in one place.
Summer of 2010-now I have couchsurfed finally

Interests

I really like to ride my bike. It is the happiest part of my day, by far. I also am obsessed with baseball, especially the Giants. I like to think of myself as a pretentious music asshole (I only listen to mispressed Beatles 45's imported from Japan from 1964-67). The rest of my time and money is spent smoking and drinking. Oh, I also like to spend time thinking about Literary Theory.

Music, Movies, and Books

hmmm...i pretty much like anything Larry the Cable Guy does.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once drank an entire gallon of milk in one hour. And they said it couldn't be done!

Teach, Learn, Share

the walls of perception that you think confine your life (whether it be socio-economic, geographical, philosophical, familial, or actual physical walls) do not exist; they never have existed, nor will they ever . Your world--your universe for that matter-- is yours to shape, and every time you think you are confronting an obstacle, it is just your mind trying to deter you from where life is taking you.
