I am from the greek countryside, but am currently living in Thessaloniki. I love animals and have a dog, a fish and some shrimps. In my free time I like visiting the local mountains, especially in the winter, and socializing with friends with some good greek wine. I love rock music, can cook pretty good, photoshooting and I'm interested in all forms of art in general. My greatest flaw is the terrible relationship I have with technology.

Couchsurfing is a relatively new experience for me, but I am fascinated by the concept of this idea. I would like to host people from all over the world and get to know them, as well as being hosted by other people in the places I visit. It is important for me to meet the local people and habits when travelling someplace, so that you can truly understand the place you are visiting. Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of trevelling often due to my busy scedule, but when I do, I make a great deal of it!

I love classic rock bands, such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Queen and the Beatles.
I have an awful lot of favorite directors such as Woody Allen, Stanley Kubrick,Alfred Hitchcock, Joel Coen, Quentin Tarantino and Tim Burton, and I've seen a number of movies. A few of them: Pulp Fiction, V for Vendetta, Casablanca, Trainspotting, LOTR, Star Wars original saga, the Dark Knight trilogy, the Usual Suspects, the Grand Budapest Hotel, All About My Mother, Apocalypse Now and Pink Floyd's The Wall.
My personal favorite books are crime novels, such as the Sherlock Holmes series, or the books of Agatha Cristie, Ian Rankin and Stieg Larsson and classic novels of F. S. Fitzgerald, J. D. Salinger, Jules Verne and others.

In Ancient Greece hospitality was a noble act, one had to be generous and giving to any traveller in need and the guests were protected by Zeus. I would like to make that tradition of my county go on, both as host and as guest.
