Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Natali 🙋♀️
Currently living with the sea as my closest neighbor, dreaming of having some day high montains as neighbors.
I like seeing others people's homes, and also ocasionally see mine with a fresh look through other's eyes.
I love being in nature, exploring it through hiking or chilling in it with a good book :)
I am a curious person. Therefore I can be interested in talking about pretty much anything, as long as it actually means something to us. I am less into chitchatting about nothing :)
I am (told by others) sensitive to other people's emotional state and needs, and a good listener.
🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
Just finished studying medicine, now traveling for a bit before I am beginning my year of staj.
In my everyday life I practice yoga and meditation, run, read, write, draw, photograph, dance, watch the sea and wander around my city in seek of discovering new perspectives and staircases in the streets(we have many of them!).
I haven't been active here since covid, but before that CS has brought me some beautiful memorable moments, and I had been keeping the vibes of it outside this platform as well.💃💃
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really enjoy meeting people from all around the world. I think that the best way to know a place in which you visit is by meeting the locals. I feel like today's tourism experience is very alienated. The whole purpose of visiting a place is to learn about it's culture, and I find that doing that just by following touristic guides is a very "dry experience".
Also, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and excitement about my city with people! I think it combines so many special beautiful features (culturaly, naturaly, architectural)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Rock, Folk, Indie, Jazz, Soul, Balkan, lofi. Into learning and discovering new cultural music. And open to all the genres :)
Favorite writers: Milen Kundera, Stefan Zweig, Romain Gary, Elena Ferrante
Cinema: I love watching good movies in old cinemas and cinematheques. Less into those commercial big cinemas (unless they are the only one who screen a film that I MUST see ☺).
I have a really hard time choosing films on streaming (the endless variety confses me), therefore I watch less movies these days (oh where are the good old days of video/dvd libraries??)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-The Israel national trail -
It's a track that crosses Israel from north to south, passes through the coastline, the desert, different cities/villages and nature types. It took me 2 months to complit, and it was a very intense and powerful experience. The minimalist lifestyle and the continuing walking combined with the interesting people I met and the interesting places I've visited made this journey very meaningful
-Camino de Santiago -
I walked the camino de santiago trail in Spain. It was another deep, meditative and empowering journey for me, and I think that it was an important turning point in my life:)
-Voluntary with turtles-
I volunteered for half a year in a turtle rescue center, and for 5 summers in guarding turtle nests and helping the little turtles reach the sea despite light pollution 🐢
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer an open heart and mind for different conversations and experiences ❤
I can cook you yummy vegetarian/vegan food. I can bake!
I'm clean and always clean after me🔅
I can cuddle your pets🐱 or help you take them outside for a walk 🐕
I really like dancing on one hand - so we can go out doing that, and on the other hand I also really like to chill: drink tea, and talk about life- so that's cool too.
