À propos de moi

Hi everyone!
I am a very passionate person, a soul seeking to explore all of the Earth's wonders, although for a long time I was doing it mostly through Internet and books, only to come to a conclusion that your imagination can only take you so far. So now I've decided to live it!
I love people and I love learning from them and listening to stories! I love trying new food, trying on traditional clothes, I like to check out souvenirs without buying them and I love taking pictures. Everytime I see anything that shakes me I make a mental note to write about it in my book. I haven't started writing one though.
Honestly, I don't think you need to travel far to feel thrilled, excited, happy, at peace, flabbergasted. Na-ah. I get my giddy chills from simply seeing sunrise sometimes, or listening to the birds early in the morning, or waking up in a tent in the middle of the Estonian nature, which is simply the best.
However, I still would like to travel more, hike more, camp more, explore more, reach farther out and smell new smells.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

This platform is offering great opportunity to travel low-cost and actually get in touch with real people living in the place and within the culture I hope to explore.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love reading classics, watching classics, listening to classics. And also anything else.
I can read anything substantial, that has a great idea in it. For example "Grapes of Wrath", "Catch-22", "Candide", "The Lizard Cage", "Les Miserables", Richard Bach "Messiah". I will appreciate any book that has at least one sentence in it, that offers a different perspective from how I see anything.
About movies... I enjoy watching dark and gritty movies, like "Fight club", "Snatch", that mess with you. I love British crime/comedy, because they do not talk crap, plus good soundtracks.
Music, I love anything that takes you away, it might be old soul, classic rock song, psychodelic/alternative rock, indie music, hip hop, techno, R'n'B, reggae, classical.
My favorite bands are Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alt-J, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Kings of Leon, Coldplay. I like Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole, Aretha Franklin, Drake, FKJ, Kanye West, Foster the People, Cage the Elephant.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I don't think I've ever done anything that is extraordinary, but I do have a bunch of secrets even secret police knows nothing about. You'll just have to find out.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I would love to learn any basic phrases from the language(s) my host speaks. I would love to know everything about the culture, traditions, religion, social and political problems, stereotypes, cuisine of the country I came to explore and study.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

You can talk about literally anything with a person, who is into History. We can talk about religion, history, myths, ethnicities, occultism, modern world politics, old perspectives on women/men rights, new perspectives on women/men rights, astrology, astronomy, circumcision, ancient, medieval, modern literature, movies, music etc. You name it.
I can teach some basic Estonian, Russian, English phrases, I can teach you 100 latin phrases/quotes (i.e. Dum spiro, spero etc). I can tell you about life in Russia and in Estonia, of my experience with people from many different countries (from Arabic, African, Latin-American and Eastern countries).
Most importantly, I can teach how to whistle using a piece of grass.
