About Me

Im forever grateful to everyone that has hosted me and helped me in my journey. Thanks to CS I’ve met the most genuine, warmhearted, and kind people. My trip would not have been the same without their help and love.

Quit everything to travel the world. Have been on the road for 9 months now and I plan to travel for around one more year.

Born in a northern region of Spain, called Basque Country. Lived there my whole life until I was 18.
When I turn 18 I moved to the USA, where I spent 2 school years. Since then my life has been a non stop. 6 months in Italy, 2 months in France and lots of backpacking trips.
2 years ago I stayed in a hostel for the first time. It was the best discovery of my life. Travel cheap while meeting wonderful people from all over the world. Since then I’ve visited many countries as a backpacker. From Portugal, which was my first stay at a hostel, to Iran, where I’ve just spent one month (November, 2023)

I’m always up for a new adventure. I love spending time outdoors. All my life I’ve spent lots of time in nature.

I’m passionate about traveling, I like to travel slow and get to experience the country as locals do. I love to engage with locals as much as I can. Meeting people and hearing their stories is a big part of traveling for me.

I’m not a big planner. I like to go with the flow and try to travel day by day. I believe that being spontaneous will lead me to have a more beautiful and magical experience while traveling.

You can find me in any social media with my name and last name: natalilartitegui

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that there are many different ways of traveling. Staying with a local is in my view the best way to get to know the country and their traditions. Stay in a hotel would be much more boring and less interesting. Having the opportunity to stay with a local is a great way of sharing both cultures and open yourself to new knowledge.
