About Me
"Certainly, travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living."
Mary Ritter Beard
Hi guys!
My name is Natalia and I'm Polish born and raised. I've been living in San Francisco for past ten years where I came for an internship but ended up falling in love with Northern California.
Why to travel?
Growing up in very small town in Eastern Poland traveling was never a priority. As an adult I rediscovered that passion and I'm trying to make up for the time I've lost. I love the freedom I feel while I'm on the road.
What to say about myself... I consider myself nice, easy going and open-minded person. I thrive to improve myself, work on my flaws in order to become a better person. Traveling helps.
"Do right. Do your best. Treat others as you want to be treated."
Lou Holtz
I pretty much get along with everybody and I have many friends from all around the world.Let the CS friends list not be a judge of my friendliness- I just became a member.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to explore the world via other people eyes. I don't want to be a tourist. If I could, I would live in every country I visit. I want to meet people, learn about culture, lifestyle, habits. I want to know what do you love about the place you live in, whats your story, what makes your life whole.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many. I love to loose myself in a good book although it's been hard to find time lately.
I'm a big fan of Quentin Tarantino.
I like to go to concerts. I grew up listening to Ramones and Sex Pistols. Alternative/indie rock is usually what I listen to, although I acquired some taste in electronic music after Burning Man experience.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Burning Man, Torres del Paine, Trekking in Himalayas for 21 days alone, camping in Alaskan wilderness
Teach, Learn, Share
"Culture makes people understand each other better. And if they understand each other better in their soul, it is easier to overcome the economic and political barriers. But first they have to understand that their neighbor is, in the end, just like them, with the same problems, the same questions."
Paulo Coelho
