Hi! I'm Natalia. I am 27. I was born in a tiny town in the Far East of Russia called Dalnegorsk (near Vladivostok for those of you who are geographically minded). When I was 11 I moved to Australia.

I have been dancing ever since I can remember. I try to understand the world through dance. I have tried everything from ballet to Easter lsland dancing. But my absolute favorite dance styles are (in no particular order)...salsa, bachata, kizomba, semba, Brazillian zouk, tango and bellydancing. Next, I really want to learn afro and dancehall.

I studied business and science at university. My degrees are a bit of a mixed bag. Corporate sustainability on the business side and human ecology and geography on the science side. I am interested in sustainability, communications, social enterprise and entrepreneurship (particularly towards female empowerment).

I have always traveled. I think I caught the travel bug from my mum. I have this crazy insatiable desire to see and experience this magical world.

In October 2016 I left Australia to fulfill a lifelong dream of travelling and dancing my way through Latin America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people and make meaningful connections. I am in love with the world and I seek to understand it as much as I can while I am here. Always on a lookout for new adventures, travelling makes me feel alive. I think couchsurfing provides a unique way to see the world through someone else's eyes.
