Somos Julián, Natalia y Caetano (de casi 2 años). De Buenos Aires, Argentina. Arrancamos el 15 de marzo de 2018 en Vancouver, Canadá, un viaje por todo el continente americano en motorhome, sin tiempo estimado. Esperamos sea el primer continente de nuestra vuelta al mundo.

Tomamos la decisión de hacer esto como una forma de vida más que como un viaje que une dos puntos. Queremos probar la vida nómada, criar a nuestro hijo socializando en distintos entornos y culturas y sobretodo permitirnos disfrutarlo y acompañarlo en su primera infancia, mientras cumplimos nuestro sueño de viajar por el mundo. Vivir de un modo minimalista, saludable y lo más sustentable posible.

El mate es un vehículo que nos ayuda a los argentinos a llegar al que tenemos en frente.
El mate no distingue fronteras, estratos sociales, edad ni género. Mientras circula interactuamos y estamos atentos a que se reparta por igual. Y entre pausas, nos deja lugar para pensar un mejor modo de hacer las cosas.
El mate tiene hospitalidad, justicia, amor, psicología y amistad. Nos enseña paciencia al esperar al que lo usa de micrófono y tolerancia con el que toma de otro modo.
No en vano mate en inglés significa compañero.

Themateway lleva consigo esta filosofía y ésta forma de hacer las cosas. Es nuestra forma de viajar, de vivir y de vincularnos con el entorno. Mate en mano, en familia y en movimiento /

We are Julian, Natalia and Caetano from Buenos Aires, Argentina. We start in Vancouver on March 2018 a trip across the American continent in motorhome, with no estimated time. We hope to be the first continent of our world roundtrip.
We made the decision to do this as a way of life rather than as a trip that links two points. We want to try nomadic life, raise our son socializing in different environments and cultures and especially allow us to enjoy and accompany him in his early childhood, while fulfilling our dream of traveling the world. Hope to live in a minimalist, healthy and as sustainable way as possible.

We think that Mate drink is a vehicle that helps Argentinian people to conect with the others.
Mate does not distinguish borders, social strata, age or gender. While it circulate´s we interact and we are attentive to distribute it equally. And between breaks, it leaves space and time to think of a better way of doing things.
Mate has hospitality, justice, love, psychology and friendship. It teaches us patience by waiting for the one who uses it as a microphone and tolerance with the one who drinks it in another way.

Me interesan las personas, los niños, los animales, la vida minimalista y la educación alternativa y respetada. Y desde que Caetano existe, ante todo soy mamá! / I like art. Read, write and dance. I am vegetarian. I am interested in politics, ecology and recycling. People, children, animals, the minimalist life and alternative and respected education. And since Caetano exists, first of all I'm a mother!

Julian: Es entrenador y profesor de educación fisica, por lo que se siente cómodo haciendo tareas físicas. También tiene habilidades en dibujo y el manejo de herramientas, especialmente en el trabajo de la madera. Ama la bicicleta y la adrenalina, también la historia / Julian is a coach, so he feels comfortable doing physical tasks. He also has skills in drawing and tools, especially in wood work. He's a bike entusiastic. He loves history.
