I am Natalia, born in Sorocaba (countryside of Sao Paulo/Brazil), moved many times accross Brazil, living in states as Sao Paulo, Parana, Santa Catarina and Bahia. In Brazil I worked as customer service for 6 years, discovering my communication skills and my passion in dealing with people. I also worked as volunteer to the poor in the church I used to go for 2 years in Brazil. I came to Dublin in 2012, to restart my life. I worked as Au Pair around 3 years and 3 months for the last family, that brought me knowledge of how to be a flexible professional with caring attitude. I'm 26, energetic, friendly, patient, fast and hard work girl. I work since I'm a teenager, developing great responsability, the willing to learn and maturity to deal with people. I also worked in restaurant area, getting experience in International names as T.G.I.Fridays and a local restaurant inside of the Dublin Castle, the heart of the city and one of the most visited places in Dublin.
Besides that I'll register that new experience on my channel on Youtube, that counts with more than 30K subscribers now, sharing my trips and experiencies with the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me and my friend decided to travel around, with no destiny. We both have similar past, so we match in many aspects. So, we joined CouchSurfing as a way to meet new people, travel around with nice experiences and o have a nice place with enjoyable people to stay and learn with them.
We were tired of our lives, nothing was changing and we felt like wasting time. So now we want to travel to get to know ourselves better, helping people, sharing experiences and registering everything.

Interests

I am a very open minded, always learning about new subjects. I can talk about the Pyramids, the Universe, money, some politics (is not very my cup of tea) and deep conversations. But I can also talk about silly TV programs, laugh because of a funny video on Internet and cry as a baby in a Cartoon movie. Technology interests me a lot, internet is my bigger love. But history, traditions, old places, old monuments, old music and culture really amazes me! I love to sing, but I'm a better dancer. I think I can dance almost every type of music, I'm very eclectic.

Music, Movies, and Books

As a eclectic person, I don't have favorite music. I like to listen and to discover new music every week. I'm very bad with names of people, bands and songs, but I know many of them. Cinema is one of my favorite things, I love to watch movies. I like since the classics, till the heroes movies nowadays. Very into series as well, but I'm late on most of them, so please, no spoiler!
I wasn't very encouraged to read when I was a child, but I always liked to read. But instead of many books, I was always interested in magazines, articles, newspaper and online contents. I'm very good in wording (more in Portuguese) with good comprehension and writing. But always learning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To go abroad! To start the adventure on leaving Brazil and moving to the other side of the world looking for new opportunities and restart life. I was married twice already, so I went to Ireland to begin again and it has been the bet thing I've done in my life ever since. My mind, my goals, my visions changed and still. I believe that once you open your mind to the new and it grows, it will never go back to the old size again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very good in Portuguese, good with English and I want to learn new languages as Italian, Spanish, French, German, Romanian and any other language that I find someone willing to teach me. Also I'm very good with space's organization. Seriously, I can help to organize places such as small rooms or even your fridge or drawers. So, if you need a little help with it, I'm the person!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very clean and organised, so I can help you with the cleaning and I also love pets! My life is an open book! So also can share all my life experience with you, talk about anything, create a nice and friendly atmosphere and make my stay enjoyable for all the parts.
