About Me

I'm always dreaming about or planning a new trip, can't stand the idea about standing still at all haha. I'm a really passionate girl who just wants to go out there and have fun, meet new people, new places, experiment as much as possible while able. I always hear people telling me "oh you are so young, you should enjoy/make the best of that while you can" and I wanna make sure that when I'm older I'm not gonna regret not doing that!

I enjoy being outside in the fresh air, I'm a really active person and love outdoors, while travelling I kinda don't sleep almost just to spend every second I'm there doing something cool, getting to know the city, people and culture over there! Even when I'm at home I enjoy walking around the city, going out for a run in a nice place nearby, hanging out with friends, like I said always doing something haha!
I really like going out at night for drinks or out partying (I specially like electronic music parties and festivals, but I enjoy listening and dancing any type of music).
I can also be a really calm girl and just want to chill at home, watching some cool tv show or movie with my friends and family, I absolutly love cooking for them and myself (although I really like fast food, takeout and delivery food too, specially KFC or a good cheesy pizza!!)

In March 2018 I quitted my job since I wanted to travel to Europe for the first time, and stayed here till June travelling a lot, visiting some of my favourites cities here, meeting new cool places and people every week, while also beginning to take baby steps into the french language haha.
Luckily every time I was hosted by somebody from CS it turned out to be a great experience and I was able to learn a lot from my hosts and their local culture. So far I had 9 wonderful hosts and each one was great!

After that, I went back to Buenos Aires for almost a year and got my dream job as a tourism guide in the city center and metropolitan area (which I absolutely loved and enjoyed so much that I'm planning to go back at the end of this 2019 just to do the summer season and get back to Europe again (it's an actual dream come true to me since I found my passion there).

In april 2019 I moved to Langon, a sort of countryside village near Bordeaux, France to stay here for a couple of years I think. I now speach french fluently but I continue to improve it daily and I'm working in a local company and I expect to return to study next year, to get a tourism degree here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS because I wanna meet people from all over the world and hang out, since I found it is a way to discover it while I'm not travelling and show the amazing city where I grew up (my beautiful Buenos Aires) to the people that wants to enjoy getting to know it.
In 2018 I got to travel a lot while using CS, it was great because it was hosted by 9 great people in different countries around and meet a lot more people from the community and locals in some CS meetings I attended.

Interests

I love sports (especially extrem ones, I did paraglading at 3000 metters high in the Andes Mountains and jump from some really high rocks at Minorque, Spain) and music (I can listen music 24/7, I love dancing the new urban styles and I realy enjoy going out to festivals, parties, everything that involves having a good time and feeling free). I also love reading a good book, go to the movies or to my friends house, go to the beach/lake/mountains/etc, watching movies at home, Netflix at anytime and eating good food haha.
I also like tourism in general I mean everything that involves it (living abroad, travelling, walk around my own city, meet new people, working as a guide, etc).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: honestly all kind, and I really mean it, all kinds of styles and from all the countries around the world. Mostly pop (I'm crazy about Michael Jackson and Beyonce but also new pop music like the hits on the radio too), electronic music (not the commercial one, the good one haha like Boris Brejcha, Adriatique, Maceo Plex, Amelie Lens, HS82, just a lot of people around those different styles ), indie rock/pop rock and around that (Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, Cage the Elephant), old USA and UK rock (Queen by far are the winners there), old argentinian rock, french pop, different brazilian styles, a bit of country music too, my range it's really wide as you can see.
Books: also everything, from big fat old classic books to new ones. I love with all my heart Edgar Allan Poe, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Stephen King. I have a big fat book abuot the Grimm brothers which I love. Also like a lot Agatha Christie, some argentinian writers and new ones I just found out of nowhere on the Internet, I used to read a lot on Wattpad too. I realy do read everything though: romance novels, comic books, myths (from all the cultures possibles), suspence novels, thrillers (anything that someone recommends me or caughts my attention).
Films: basically all of the old and new movies of Robert de Niro, Meryl Streep, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, and many more, all the new Marvel movies, and good movies of action, suspense and thrillers in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on an intercultural exchange to Brazil for 6 months after I won a scolarship and during that time I met people from over 35 countries (I'm still in contact with a lot of them), which absolutely open up my mind to different life styles and ways of being.
I did it when I was 15, so it really was a life-changing trip. It made me grow up and adapt to a different culture, while being away from home for the first time (even have to manage my money while been there and make sure it lasted till the end haha). The best part was that I was able to deeply know the culture and I loved it!
On march 2018 I quitted my job to come to Europe for 3 months since I wanted to travel as much as possible while I'm young, to discover the places I like the most, to grow personally and learn new lenguages easily (I'm currently perfectioning my french and in the future my goal is going after german, I actually set the goal with myself that I've got untill my 30s to learn it haha).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a really open minded person, I love having a good time, I'm always laughing and making jokes, I will really help you around your place, I won't just use you as a hotel room, I wanna really connect with the people that host me, I want this experience to be good for both sides!
