ABOUT ME

I'm Chinese by ethnicity, but I was born in Indonesia. And I have been living in the US for 10 years now. Lucky enough I found a job in DC where I live right now. As chinese, unfortunately, I don't really speak the language, shamefully. Since most of my friends are international, so the only time I'd use my Indonesian (language) when I talk to my sister or my mom. Although sometimes, since I don't use Indonesian as much, I couldnt get the word out of my mouth (forgot), but I do understand Indonesian completely when I hear people talking. I can say I'm very adventurous, that's what my friend told me when I told her about me joining this site, and I like to travel and I think this will be very good opportunity to meet new people.
Personality wise, I'm cheerful, can be thoughtful.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

first time I heard about CS2, I thought it is pretty cool. I get to travel around the world n meet nice people. I'm assuming whoever signs up for this project, they must be very trustworthy, and willing to help people who in needs...in this case those who needs a place to stay in the foreign cities, and if lucky, get to know these nice people really well. Someday, I would like to return the favor by hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like any kinds of music, there r many artists that I enjoy listening to, from classical to alternative songs. My live music experience, it was Keane. I'm assuming not many people know them, so when I went to watch them, it was not crowded at all, and I stood very close to the stage :) Another live music/concert experience, it would be Jon BonJovi with Goo Goo Dolls the opener. It was awesome. Movies, I like most romantic comedy, I have Love Actually (taken place in London, one place that I'd like to visit), The Holiday, I also like action-superheroes kind of movies, like X-Men, Transformers, Superman Returns, and I also enjoy watching independent movies, so pretty wide variety of movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I must say getting to the field of work that I have wanted since I was younger, would be my greatest accomplishment. Be able to travel around the US also my other accomplishment. I have been living in the midwest and the west coast, and now I'm in the east coast.
