About Me

I am a sociologist and Yoga teacher from Chile. I lived the last 3 years in Bristol, UK and I'm currently doing volunteering work in Valencia, Spain. I love Yoga & mindfulness, animals, hikes, nature, books and films.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to meet people to share common interests with, maybe go for a walk/hike, coffee or a drink!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite film is maybe Harold & Maude.
Favorite book might be Peter Camenzind by Hermann Hesse (it's been about 20 years since I read it though... I've been searching for a copy to re read it!) I love classics like Dostoeisky and García Márquez, but also enjoy contemporary literature, such as Sally Rooney
I couldn't say what my favorite music is, it honestly varies so much according to my mood. It can be indie rock one minute, R&B the next, followed by reggaeton or pop!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a nest of baby turtles being born and walk into the ocean in the coast of Costa Rica... beautiful!

I climbed Panama's tallest mountain (Volcan Barú) at night and watched the sunrise from the top.

I hiked the O circuit in Torres del Paine (8 days hike) on my own.

More recently, I moved to Spain on my own to start a new life, with no connections, job perspectives or plans. (Stupid or amazing? We'll soon find out.)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a certified Yoga teacher, happy to share my practice: Vinyasa, Yin, Ashtanga.
I'm looking to learn everything I can about sustainable farming, permaculture and all things related.
Always looking to learn anything related to nature/animals/plants/the environment/how to be more sustainable.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Yoga, food (I'm a fairly decent cook), laughs, a great night out, hikes.
