About Me
Hi all! I'm another New Zealand girl trying her best to see the world. I've been hooked onto travelling since I was a teenager, and I've got some much love for experiencing other cultures, languages and foods. When I'm not at my 9-5 or working my pub job to save for trips, you can find me at the pub, the park, or in bed reading another trashy romance.
I can't wait to meet more people on here and look forward to many new friendships & adventures!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've lived around New Zealand, Australia and England, and am always up for an adventure and to find my next Best City. Unfortunately, travelling is a little pricey and, working in charity, I live on a shoestring at times. Furthermore, the best part of travelling is always the people you meet on the road! So why not mix things up and do both at the same time, right?
I'm a very respectful guest, and am very aware of the kind actions that enable me to meet so many new wonderful friends. I have couch surfed through friends-of-friends previously, and can promise I am very well house-trained; your kindness is not taken for granted!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of indie, soul and folk music, but am also partial to a good rave when the opportunity arises! Live music is a massive passion, and I love finding small gigs to attend as often as possible.
I'm another sucker for A24 films, and love a good kitchen sink drama, thoughtful comedy, and filthy, sucker-punching romance. That being said, I would never say no to a Shrek-marathon. Or Lord of the Rings - I'd be a national disgrace otherwise.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2020, I took my crappy little 1L Toyota Vitz and drove around the whole of New Zealand solo for a month. Obviously, this being the Year Of The Great Pandemic, I had had to cancel a couple of big trips to South East Asia, and found myself with itchy feet once more. As I had just had to move back to my home country, I suppose I took this as a fantastic opportunity to see more of NZ, and it ended up being one of the best life decisions I have ever made.
