Overview
About Me
I grew up in a small town on the West Coast of Canada and have always had a huge desire to travel. I've done a little bit here and there, but as I finish university, I'm looking to do a whole lot more in the coming years. I love yoga, classic rock, hiking, writing, healthy eating, and my dog (I know, so typical).
Throughout university I worked at the student newspaper and I am now working remotely for a PR agency that specializes in start-up tech businesses. As my career develops, my basic over-arching goal is to be able to be creative and write for a good cause. And be able to travel while doing so. ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to see the world in the most authentic way possible, and what better way than to meet locals? Plus, as a young person, budgeting is crucial.
This May I'm going to France!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Kale, Bruno Mars, BRUUUUCE Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Nathanial Ratecliffe and the Night Sweats, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Macklemore, Bob Dylan, Chance the Rapper, Michael Jackson, The Lumineers, Kings of Leon, and many more equally awesome artists...
Books: I like a wide range of genres (less so fantasy and historical, though). I tend to lean towards, "deeper", thought provoking stuff. A few that stand out: The Lovely Bones, The Life of Pi, Catcher in the Rye, Room
Movies: I'm a huge sucker for Disney (hey Lion King!) and musicals like Grease, but I have so many favourites in other genres. I'm really bad at picking my favourite movies...
