About Me

Sawadii ka hello!

I am in Thailand until June 2022, come visit :)))

I prefer to chat a bit before hosting if possible! Happy to meet for drinks, coffee, etc. if you are in town :)

My name is Natalie, I'm from New Jersey, USA, and am attending a European-based graduate program studying Humanitarian Action. I lived in Dublin Fall 2020 during the pandemic and moved to Groningen, Netherlands for the Spring semester (also during the pandemic haha) and then Thailand (yep still the pandemic). I've lost count of the number of PCR tests I've taken 🌞. I take classes at Chiang Mai University and explore the beautiful North!

I volunteered for two years in the Peace Corps living and working in rural Uganda. I am passionate about sustainability and learning about other cultures. Wherever I end up in life, I want to travel, learn, and help people along the way.

Happy to chat on whatsapp, insta (@ienatalie), or contemplative letters by mail :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In December 2020, I traveled to Egypt. I met some Couchsurfers who introduced me to everything that this site can be, and re-activated my account after a long hiatus. I hope to make new friends and be a resource.
