About Me
I am currently getting my Masters degree in French Literature at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I love to travel, experience new places and cultures, and find common ground with fellow human beings.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my undergrad, I spent ten months studying in Besançon, France. While there, I learned that much of the fun of travelling comes from the people you meet along the way, and everything that you can learn from them about their city, their culture, or their personal history.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love most kinds of music - indie, folk, jazz, musicals, classic rock, etc.
One of my biggest joys in life is sitting down to a great book. A Tale of Two Cities, Le Chiendent, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series, and Winesburg, Ohio are some of my favorites. I also love to read about art historical subjects.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I accidentally spoke at a press conference for Manuel Valls, the president of France. It was at the very beginning of my study abroad, and I misunderstood what I was signing up for!
