About Me

I'm just a small town girl, living in a big ol' world, I took an over night plane going to Bilbao, Spain. Ever heard of the song "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey? That was a little play on the lyrics. Anyway, I am from a very small town in North Carolina, but I have big dreams to travel the world and I am living out those dreams now. I am a student and soon I will be graduating from college which is both scary and exciting. I have a strong desire to work with kids because I have seen how in any situation they are in, they always choose to be happy. It's inspiring and encouraging, so I think it would be amazing to get a chance to help children who are less fortunate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am studying abroad in Spain until May, and during this time I plan on exploring other places in Europe as well. Staying in hostels or airbnbs is always an option, but couchsurfing seems like it would be more personal in the sense that I would get to know the area better from locals who live their everyday.

Interests

My favorite things to do are arts and crafts and play volleyball!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Since I was a child, I have been listening to country music. I love me some Carrie Underwood. I also enjoy listening to Christian music. Though those are my favorite, I enjoy almost all types of music.

Movies: It's hard to choose my favorite movies, so I will have to reveal my favorite genre which would be romantic comedies. I like movies that make me go through all the emotions, especially laughing and crying.

Books: I am not much of a reader, but the one book I work hard to read on a daily basis is the Bible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few weeks after I climbed an active volcano in Ecuador it began erupting!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Since I am learning Spanish, I can teach you what I know and we can learn together!

Learn: I love learning, so I am up to learn anything.

Share: I can share my experiences studying abroad and traveling all over Europe. I have some very interesting stories to tell ;)
