I was born and raised in the far north of Canada in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. There I've witnessed the aurora many times, along with days where the sun only appears for a few hours, and others where it never completely sets.

No rhyme or reason to what I do, I have my Certificate in Culinary Arts, and I just graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, and I have been trying to see as much of the world as possible since then.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, locals and newcomers alike. I enjoy sitting down and chatting, learning about someone else's perspective, learning about their home and their experiences.

When I am travelling, I hope to obtain an authentic experience from the host country. I want to meet locals, and move away from the generic tourist experience.

Interests

Food is one of the most important things in my life. Being in good company, and enjoying a meal together that has been carefully crafted, is one of the greatest pleasures in life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few months ago I had trouble thinking of one, now I have trouble choosing one.

I would probably say the craziest thing I have done was a Tarzan swing where you free fall for 45 metres in Costa Rica.
