While I feel strong affinity towards my HK and Canadian homes, and love for my adopted Ugandan home, I love traveling, and learning about other cultures - it constantly makes me realize just how little I know! Seriously, cliche as it sounds, the world is my oyster. I'm always up for an adventure, and love nothing more to share experiences with people. I have a deep appreciation for beauty in nature, so while I'm a bit of a city rat, being outdoors is what is satisfying to my soul - my favourite has been being thrown into a rain forest in Malaysia, being surrounded by giant, ancient trees. As a guest I always try to be thoughtful and respectful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I honestly love meeting locals wherever I travel, and alternate my days between seeing big sights and experiencing the city/place as a local. I also love exchanging knowledge and stories from my end, and that can only be done properly through couchsurfing (not even AirBnb).
