I'm a 21-year-old girl from the south of Germany floating around in different places of the world atm and not really planning the future too much.
For now I've settled in Berlin and am currently studying the cultures and languages of the Northern European countries. For the next 8 months my studies are taking me to Helsinki, so if anyone happens to be in the mood for hearing terrible Finnish with a german accent (and is willing to help me improve it) gladly hit me up!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm very interested in languages, culture and people and love getting to know about them - and for me, there's no better way of learning about them than by meeting people in their home environment and spending time with them. I enjoy good conversations a lot.

Interests

I love to read good literature of any kind, whether it be an article in the newspaper or a novel and am always open for recommendations!
I also have a great passion for languages and am currently studying Swedish and Finnish. Besides that I'm trying to keep my French 'alive'. I'm happy to meet up and practice any of those languages over a cup of tea or coffee :)
Otherwise I've been spending a lot of time doing climbing in the past few weeks

All the old stuff, especially 60s and 70s, 80s metal - the doors, black sabbath, iron maiden, type o negative, the beatles, led zeppelin, etc etc etc

Books:

Rather authors such as sylvia plath, patti smith, bukowski, hemingway, murakami etc and biographies

Movies:

I enjoy documentaries and also old films, especially hitchcock and kubrik
