PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once we've decided to go to Vilnius with a friend of mine from Germany. She told me that we'll find a place on CS, by that time this word hasn't any meaning for me.
But from that time the story begins...we met my first host on CS...it was amazing, at first I thought how she can give us a key from home, when she don't know us at all.
This cite and the idea is one of the most amazing possibilities to meet really cool, interesting, open minded people; to share stories and experience, knowledge; to talk about nature, life, music, books, hobbies..whatever....
Sometimes we can't travel the world, with the CouchSurfing you can "host/meet" the world where you are :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of the most amazing thing I've done, i's my 10 months volunteering in a small city in Latvia, where I was working with children and adults in a youth center. Also my summer camp in Latvia with children with autism and my volunteer work in an organization for children with autism . It was really really really beautiful, special time with special kids. They gave me so much sincere smile and hugssss.
I've had much more great moments while travelling, discovering new places, meeting people, as all travelers around the globe, but I believe in a very maybe small but very special times..like being able to be finally home after long time for my mom bday...this is something, what life is about for me...
