About Me

CURRENT MISSION

YOLO

PHILOSOPHY

YOLO!!!!!

Read "Hope for the Flowers" by Trina Paulus. She pretty much sums it up for me. Also, read "Even Cowgirls Get The Blues" by Tom Robbins.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By helping to create positive, welcoming, safe, conscious, and REAL spaces wherever I go. I enjoy having "heart to hearts," which can be best described as deeply meaningful, emotional, challenging talks with people I'm close with, or people I've just met. I try to keep small talk minimal, and get right to the heart of the matter. I just want to try to be real and surround myself with people who are real. I'm really trying to learn to be in touch with myself and where I'm at, and to make choices accordingly. I also enjoy having a good time and try to inspire fun, spontaneity, adventure, and ridiculousness.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I've mentioned previously, I lived in a coop in Santa Cruz (NASCO's Chavez coop) where we hosted couchsurfers regularly. It seemed like we always had at least one couchsurfer sleeping on our couch. I met a lot of amazing people, and also met some people who made me or a friend/housemate uncomfortable. In those interactions, I learned how to communicate directly and honestly. And after having a lot of experience as a host of couchsurfers, I'm looking forward to experiencing the other side of this beautiful relationship!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow...so many things. Well, I just went on a road trip to Utah and spent some time in Bryce Canyon. Now, THAT is an unbelievably beautiful place! The hoo doos! Wow!

Teach, Learn, Share

I feel like I'm being repetitive, but I can teach real talk. I would love to have a real, down to earth conversation with you! And after being a camp counselor, I can also teach you many silly, fun games to play! I can teach you how to two-step and how to rap nicki minaj and E-40 songs.

I want to learn how to play the harmonica. I want to learn how to kick ass at pool. I want to learn so many things!
